Since we opened in 2001 at our showrooms in Cows Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin. We have received great press coverage over the years, most notable in the Irish Times newspaper, The Irish Independent newspaper, The Evening Herald and The Irish Sun. John Weldon has also been heard on national and local radio discussing the jewellery market and trends of the business, including The Joe Duffy Show, The Anton Savage Show on Today FM, The Ray D'Arcy Show again on Today FM & Waterford WLF-FM. Some years ago John Weldon also spoke on The Gerry Ryan Show on 2FM for over 20 mins and gave an insight into auctioning jewellery.

John Weldon Auctioneers is licensed by the Property Services Regulatory Authority to auction property other than land. Licence number 001760. John Weldon Auctioneers is also an appointed auctioneer under the Pawnbrokers Act 1964 by the Minister of Justice for the purposes of holding auctions of pawnbrokers pledges. That appointment was given by the then Minister Michael McDowell TD in 2004.
